Where’s home, and what do you like about it
I live in Jasper, the perfect place to live as a photographer! I love our little community here and admire all of the inspiring individuals who reside in town. The fact that I can access some of the most pristine wilderness in Canada just outside my front door is astounding!
What’s your origin story? How did you get started with this work?
A number of years ago I was working as an industrial medic in a really remote region of Alberta. One day I came across a lynx who had made a kill and it was eating in front of me, talk about a NatGeo moment! I tried to shoot some photos with my cell phone but they came out lousy. That day I vowed I was going to buy a good camera and learn how to take cool photos; I’ve never looked back! Now I’ve established my photography company, my dream job, in my dream home of Jasper.
What pushes and/or inspires you to be creative?
The fact that the landscapes change weekly here. You’ll always see something new and unique in Jasper and I’m always excited to capture that.

Anything else you’d like people to know?
When you book a shoot with me it’s definitely like a day of playing in the mountains, it’s always a good time! I still have my EMR practitioners license so my clients can always feel safe to adventure with me.
