What do you make

So far we are quite new to making one of a kind items such as earrings, leather goods, mittens, embroidered canvas bags, scrunchies etc.

Where’s home, and what do you like about it

We are fortunate enough to call Hinton home. We've been here about 9 years and everyday we look at the mountains, we are in awe of the beauty. They never look the same . Anything you want to do outdoors, you can. Best back yard there is.

What’s your origin story? How did you get started with this work?

We started out playing around with making earrings and scrunchies for our selves, then we dove right in and purchased a industrial sewing machine for mitten and bag making. So far we are thoroughly enjoying all of it.

What pushes and/or inspires you to be creative?

Creativity and inspiration mainly come from the materials we are using. We see a beautiful piece of leather or fur and get excited about all the possibilities, the same goes for fabrics and threads. I might think to myself "oh that would make a beautiful pair of mitts, or a gorgeous bag". For Maddie she will come up with a idea for embroidery and sketch it out and make it.

How can people purchase your work?

As of now items can be purchased through My Slice of Paradise in the Hinton Valley Shopping Centre or through private message. We are working on a website for online purchasing as well.
