Where’s home, and what do you like about it?

I have lived in Hinton AB for the past six years. The proximity to the mountains and the wonderful people have kept me here longer than I anticipated.

What’s your origin story? How did you get started with this work?

I've always been creative. It all started with sewing my own clothes, on to knitting, art school, photography now clay and wood. I'm the happiest when I'm creating.

I started playing with clay about five years ago and it quickly became an addiction. It didn't take long before I had a basement studio where I could create during my son's naps times.

What pushes and/or inspires you to be creative?

I find the landscape and environment around me very inspiring, how could you not ?
