Hinton, Alberta. I love our community, the mountains and the forests. There is so much here to explore and inspire!

What’s your origin story? How did you get started with this work?

As long as I can remember I have been inspired by nature and intrigued by the power of plants and other natural elements. Wanting to have more control over the products that I use, I began creating my own bath and body products several years ago and things progressed from there!

I found that the thing I loved most in creating these products was combining and creating scents, which is why I have honed in mainly on bath products and diffuser oils. The power of aromatherapy is amazing and I love how scents can be combined to create feelings and experiences.

The name Mountain Thyme Co. is very special to me, it is inspired by my grandmothers tea house Thyme for Tea which she operated for many years before retiring. It holds a special place in my heart, and my grandma Linda has been a huge inspiration throughout my journey. At mountainthyme.ca you will find handmade flower presses and some incredible pressed flower art, created by her!

What pushes and/or inspires you to be creative?

Nature is a huge inspiration! The more I learn, the more intrigued and inspired I am.
